num lock and KDE

I configured KDE to turn num lock on boot time. And, what it does is boot, show login screen with num lock off, then I start typing my password, and when I press first letter of my pass, it ignores it and turns my num lock on. As if on boot time every key on my keyboard becomes num lock. So I have to try my password with doubled first letter. How do I fix this?
