Hello all, I am new to linux and especially Ubuntu. In fact i just installed it today. Well, this is an art section, so i thought i would post what i worked on for the past hour or so. It's a desktop background. If anyone would like to suggest something. Or a different size. I would be happy to do something.

Very nice! Looks pretty good. What program did you use to design it?

Oh I thought you might have used that, I have the manual and am (slowly) trying to learn it. It is a very powerful program once you know how to run it efficiently (which I haven't yet ).

Yes it is a very powerful program, took me awhile to get used to it. Keep trying, Blender can do alot more than people think it can do.

Yes, I would imagine a large amount of people don't actually try it out because they becom skeptical when they see it is free. Especially considering the industry standard is AutoCAD which is one of the most pricey programs on the market. Its the wonderful magic of open source software :)
