I tried installing adesklets from the Synaptic Package Manager, however it won't run. I open the terminal and type "adesklets" and it seems to accept the command, but nothing happens. Anyone know what's wrong?

You need to run it the first time from the menu, assessories.........then after you select the desklets you want to use then you can run it from terminal or from sessions startup.
