I have an nvidia graphic card but Im not sure which one it is.
What is the command to to figure out what it is?
I wanna know so I can try to confiigure it and use beryl or something like it

is your computer a Dell laptop? here some info on your video cards chip - http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=82865
please go to your manufactures website and find more info. the videocards in some laptops may very tricky to set-up. post the spec. of videocard here.

its hp not dell
im not sure what the specs are
its a hp dv9000 -the computer
