Running .exe on server

Here's the deal, i got a server set up for ftp to my settings. and i was wondering if i could run a dedicated halo 1 server off of the server too?

i got to thinking and thought that it might not be possible because of the program being .exe, but is there a way to do it?

you could use wine to try and do this, but chances are that wine wont be able to run the exe since its going to be quite complicated

I would spend some time learning about wine, before trying to run it off the server. Many Microsoft apps are tricky to setup due to complex installers, IE library, and netframe applications. Usually, pre-97 before MSI and cab based applications easily install within wine. Most games are out of question, because it might require drivers for a hardware acceleration.
