hey! so yeah, yesterday I wrote a post bashing the sabayon forums.. well that totally jinxed me, sabayon doesnt boot anymore.. so im giving up on that boat.. I installing sam linux because I read something about people saying its like pclinuxos but on xfce and that sounds neat! and plus it a distro named after me :).

But to get to the point! does anybody know how to get pSX to run on Sam linux?

yes, but this is the other OS section, and the ubuntu community is larger than the sam community.. therefor there should be more people in the ubuntu forum which will get me a faster response :)

But how much people here do you think use Sam instead of Ubuntu... And how much people on Sam forums use Sam?

Actually, I am on the SAM Linux development team, so theres at least one... unfortunately I am at work at the moment and cannot adequately look into this. I would check the PCLinuxOS forums first, and maybe even the Mandriva forums as SAM shares roots with them. Especially PCLOS as we actually use their repo's for most things. I did a cursory search and didn't find much... is this a PS2 emulator? Either way, I will do a more extensive search when I get home. If you do find anything please let me know as well and I will add it to the wiki or at least make a forum post (don't want to jinx you ;)). Good luck.

You can download pSX from the official site, find a libgtkglext package for your system, and it *should* work. You could always post the terminal output if it errors and someone might be able to help you.
