How to install Quake 4 Demo???!!

I've been breaking my head for 30 min trying to find a way to make the stupid .run file install for the Quake 4 demo. What command do I have to enter into the console? I'm a noob at this stuff.

"./installer.run" or maybe "sudo ./installer.run"? Dunno the name of the file so I just used installer.run

It is
sudo sh installer.run

You *may* need to do this first before it will run:
sudo cdmod +x installer.run
