Open source photo management for Windows

I'm looking for an open source photo management program for windows. basically I juts need to tag photos to make searching through a large amount of photos easy. My photos are stored in folders that are labeled with the date and I'm happy with this. I don't want something that is going to rearrange the my photos or folders.

Thanks for the tip on Picasa I think I might give it a try since it keeps popping up in forums for similar questions.

Re: windows photo apps: Canon puts out some decent software packages that are bundled with their cameras. They are not free, nor open source, but they are easy to find and work well on Windows.

Did a who is and it's US ISP Earthlink (duh?) anyway no big deal he/she just misunderstood. Which makes me wonder, how many others misunderstood the gesture? I'm puzzeled how the conclusion that I was going to do an adult site was reached, I'd like to know that one (Gang members take home photos too yuh know).

Sorry. If I was wrong about your interpretation of the hand sign, then I apologize, but it is still the same hand sign that is used by the Cripps gang in Los Angeles (maybe they are signing "Love"?).

I will be more careful next time about jumping to conclusions.

I can understand the gang sign part, it did suprise me at first cause I tough most everyone knew it. The porn site part was the real stumpper.

I have Photosshop CS2 and can get a free copy of Adobe Bridge, anyone uses it? pros and cons???
