Long story: I tried following various posts to get WoW working with WINE, and followed them to the letter. Couldn't install from the CD, so I spent 5 days and nights downloading the trial (very slow connection). After trying to install NUMEROUS times and re-installing everything from WINE on down, I finally paid for Cedega. I was able to install WoW, get the updates/patches, and play. BUT the video is very choppy and the system locks when I try to enter a room. I try to get Cedega updates, but it says there's an error with my username/PW, though I can log into their website with the same. Can anyone please guide me through this? I know this computer can run WoW, because I used it before I got rid of XP. Here's my specs:

OS: Feisty
System: Dell Latitude D400
Video/Audio: Both are integrated
RAM: 2GB

Integrated video is your problem. (I'm guessing Intel integrated?) The intel drivers released for linux fail at existance in most cases. For best results get a well supported video card.

Also as opposed to downloading the whole thing, you could have copied the contents of the cds to your hard drvie and installed from therem.

In the future please use an existing WoW thread instead of making a new one.

I just got WoW working GREAT on my laptop today took me two hours from install and updating to tweaking and then playing, it crashed after logging into my character it would play for maybe a second or two then it would kind of lockup...

Though I have an ATi card and used wine instead... still, I hope this helps you as much as it helped me.
