Hey,
Nobody replied to my previous mail about this and Matt asked to mail the
details, so new mail about eagle-usb.
eagle-usb is needed, for a part of the french (and probably others) dsl
users, to get a working net connection.
The installation is not trivial since you need to build a kernel module
from the sources, but at least it's available for people who need it.
Without it no connection, without connection no way to download the
package ... not really good.
Currently we have eagle-adsl in universe (eagle-adsl has been renamed to
eagle-usb in debian), perhaps we could consider putting eagle-usb on the
CD ?
Cheers,
Sebastien Bacher

On second thoughts, since it's a kernel module, let's just have it
available in the normal kernel package?

If the modules are sane and build everywhere with our kernel, we should add
them to the kernel package, so they are always available and we don't need
to worry about rebuilding anything.
I've added eagle-usb-utils to Supported and Ship.
