hi,
regarding that lots of users don't get the sudo concept
of ubuntu i'd like to make some suggestions:
1. a wrapper for sudo that monitors if passwd is called
and points out that you gain nothing above the sudo
concept with setting up a root password.
probably show a link to the appropriate docs.
2. drop the mentioning of root completely form the gksudo
windows. replace it with something like (i'm german, so excuse my
english):
"Please enter your Password to confirm you want to do administrative
tasks"
or ".....you want to run xyz"
