Or dial-up, which doesn't even come in automatically, let alone before
ntpdate.

Running ntpdate is a handy thing to do and everything, but pool.ntp.org is
just bad news. I regularly get ridiculous time values (off by hours) back
from the servers in that rotation.

Is there a reasonable public-access round-robin NTP service that would be
safe to point every Ubuntu user at, or should we just disable this for now?
