Hi All,

I have been looking for an answer to this, but have not found anything as yet so would be immensely grateful if anybody could help.

I have a dual boot Ubuntu Hoary, XP Pro SP2 on an amd64 system. The only reason I have XP Pro is for gaming. I can mount the win partition by:
mount -t ntfs /dev/sda1 /mnt/win
and I have access to all files, I can even write files to it without any problems.

The thing is I already have Steam installed on the box with the f***ing two hour download for HL2 and I was wondering if it would be possible to make wine use some of the stuff from the mounted drive.

If wine cannot do it, is there any other solution out there that will let me do that?

Thanks.
