Is it possible to play old DOS or Win95 games? Would I use wine?

Game examples:

Wizardry Golkd
Strategic Command
Master of Orion
X-Com
Flight Commanger 2
Steel Panthers, Steel Panthers II
Advanced Dungeons and Dragons: Eye of the Beholder I, II, III
Mission Force Cyberstorm

checkout dosbox (http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1) for the old dos games. i'd recommend any of the commander keen games :)
(i'm pretty sure dosbox is in the repositories)

Ok how do you run Dosbox ?
I have installed it from resp.
now what ?

Start dosbox, (type dosbox) a command line opens. This is dosbox! Use it like DOS, but mount drives is difference.

You will be in a Z: drive, to move to a different drive, type "mount c c:". Then type "C:".
