The project page lists this as stage 2, "pre-alpha". I am not even sure if they have a working version, yet.

However, even if there was one, I don't think a .deb would really help you out. At such an early stage, I believe anyone who wants to experiment with a program should be able to install it on their own. Because there are going to be bugs, and lots of them ...

If you still fancy playing about with it. There is now a binary version available:

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/oopdfimporter/pdfimport.tar.bz2?use_mirror=kent&filesize=1632869

Just extract the file and run using:

./pdfimporter PDF_FILE

Let me know how you get on.

A deb is now available to download from the project page as requested. I've also added a graphical interface.
