Hello,
For those people using PPTP dialer to connect to the Internet, especially in some European countries like Holland and Austria and people in Israel, finding the right way to configure the dialer and connect might be tricky.
After quite a bit of hard work, I have found a simple and effective way of overcoming this obstacle.
I have written an article that explains in detail how to configure a PPTP dialer. I have tested it since in both Ubuntu (incl. Kubuntu) and SUSE, 32-bit and 64-bit versions, successfully.

Some of the external links that I refer to in the article also cover the L2TP dialer, which is well suited for Debian based distros.
