I tried installing Ubuntu several times. The first time it installed and I actually got to the login screen, but when I'd log in, it would crash and ask me to log in again. After that, I tried reinstalling again, but now when it goes to start up after installation, it flashes "Unable to locate RSDP" and then goes black. So then I decided to try Xubuntu because I figured if I get it to work, it'll run faster with parallels on my Macbook, but I still have the same problem I had with Ubuntu. "unable to locate RSDP" Any ideas?

Hopefully this thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=446338&highlight=rsdp) will point you in the right direction.
