removed the icon of the wastebin in gnome

Hi,
It's kind of embarrassing but accidently I removed a wastebin icon from the desktop by right-click and remove from the panel :(

How can I restore it back to the desktop?

right click on your panel and select 'Add to Panel', then find the trash plugin and drag it to where you want it to be. :)

Also, once it's where you want it, you can then right click on it and lock it to the panel. this doesn't prevent you from deleting it, but it will prevent it from being moved around on you.
