Did a little googling on the ubuntu soc projects, here is what is happening to the add/remove applications program:

They also have a ton of other projects as well, sorry I didn't chime in earlier, just came across it myself.

I guess the deadline for apps was June 14th though, eh well, still something to look at, plus a lot of the projects still have their own bounties as well.

I am getting very close to the first release of the GUI ndiswrapper driver installer! I'll post a link for people to test when it is ready.

Looks great and will definitely make life much easier for a lot of people! What other tools are you working on?

I also really like the application installer.
