Help finding network driver.

Hi,

Can anyone help me find a network driver for a Dell Optiplex GX270 please. I am installing Ubuntu using the alternate disc Image as i kept experiencing crashes in the live install.

Is your NIC an Intel PRO/1000?

yes from what i have read it is the Intel PRO/1000.

Unfortunately after the install that is not the only problem i have found. Looks like x is not functioning either. (gonna have to look at that as well)
