disk shortcut on dekstop

hay U all!
I've install feisty on my PC, but why disk shortcut doesn't show on my dekstop, how can I create shortcut for my disk on Desktop/

i think the idea is for it to be open and simple. :-)

to regain disk shortcuts go into preferences and select "removeable drives and media" there will be options in the dialog box about which drives do and do not reach your desktop.

you can also just drag anything on or in your gnome-panel (windows users read start-bar) to the desktop to make an additional short cut. :)
