I have been trying to install a new desktop background. When I go to Gnome picture website and select a image to my desktop. If i center it, it is a small photo in the middle of the screen. If I stretch it , it is very pixalated. Do I need to change my screen resolution. All other applications run at the proper size and are very clear. I am very new to Ubuntu, if anyone can help with a simple explaination that would be great.;)
