Hi,

I have been messing around with Linux for the first time over the last few weeks. I am setting up a MythTv (based on Ubuntu 7.04) box and connecting it to a a Sanyo DLP-Z5 projector via DVI/HDMI. I am using an ATI X1300 video card. My restricted drivers manager tells me that the ATI accelerated graphics driver is enabled.

I am trying to drive my projector at its native resolution of 1280x720. I have found this info:

http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Modeline_Database#Sanyo_PLV_Z4.2FZ5

an have edited my xorg.conf accordingly. My system starts runs fine, but 1280x720 is not an option to be selected in my screen resolutions.

Here is a copy of my xorg.conf. Any help could be much appreciated.

Thanks
Phil

I'm afraid I cant help, I only have a question. Did you have to do anything to set up the X1300 with fglrx driver? I cannot get it to work...

All I did was go to System -> Administration->Restricted Drivers Manager and selected "ATI accelerated Graphics Driver". Hope that helps.
