Hey guys just made this simple but nice looking avatar in my opinion.

I made it by searching for an Ubuntu logo online. Took it into gimp, did a little cartoon rendering, and then threw some text on it. Simple but elegant.

Part of the problem is it got resized when I uploaded to forums. Another is, I couldn't really find the right color so I just went with the default black. It's more directed toward the Ubuntu community anyway so people should be able to figure it out. If you have another color that you think would work well let me know.

You could try curving the text between the top two heads so it was all outside of the circle maybe.
