No linux on your PocketPC, tisk tisk! GPE is incredible btw, maybe Ubuntu will make PDA version sometime in the future.

From looking on the site, pdaXrom uses the matchbox window manager, which is what the GPE uses too. Looks great though. Almost makes me wish I had a zaurus instead of a netbsd handheld. :)

Well considering the iPaq I have (h1940) only managed to get GUI boot 5 weeks ago I feel no shame. Especially as it reportedly crashes as soon as you caliberated the touch screen

:p

I am using this theme but with the top and bottom bar light brown (lighter then the background's brown) and white text for every thing.

Thank you very much! (I was too lazy to make my own)

latrine: nice, i like it.

sionide - it's different to the desktop windows....much better at it's job and besides linux just isn't feasible for the h1940 yet....

Noticed that no one is mentioning Familiar for the IPAQ.

You could be running Linux in minutes!! \\:D/

See http://familiar.handhelds.org/

Note that it's only stable for iPAQ h3100, h3600, h3700, h3800, h3900, h5400 and h5500

You're probably better off asking specific questions via the methods listed on their website.

Damn.
Any chance for support for the h2200?

I haven't got a clue, perhaps it's worth reading the site FAQs and finding out, or asking the familiar developers what their plans are.

I have a Sharp Zaurus SL5500. Great piece of gear!
Has anyone made a Ubuntu theme for it?

This would be cool, to have a ubuntu pda distro, maybe based on familiar sinc it is based also ondebian... I don't have developer skills, but I ofer myself for testing... in this moment, I am about to instal familiar on my ipaq h5550... contact me, if some sort of pocket-buntu will start to raise :)
