hello everyone :)

i installed ubuntu studio from the live dvd, i had feisty 7.04 previously. when i try to install certain programs on apt-get,for example mplayer, and even installing programs with synaptic, for some programs it says i have to insert the feisty fawn 7.04 cd so the installation can continue :(
is there a way to go around that? i'm beginning to think that i should have just upgraded direcly from feisty so that this message wouldn't appear and i could install the programs without using the feisty cd. anyone had this issue as well?

thank you in advance ;)

Try going into Synaptic, clicking on Settings/Repositories/Ubuntu Software. At the bottom of that screen there is a place to check if the CD is to be used for updates. Uncheck it. That should solve your issue.
