Wubuntu ~ Ubuntu in HTML

Hey there!

I recently made this project and maybe you guys would be interested in it :)
It's the basic ubuntu interface written in html & javascript.

You can visit it here: http://wubuntu.weejewel.net. I haven't tested it in konqueror yet, but firefox should display it well :)

Hehe, that might be because I didn't add any other application :P I can easily do, but i just dont have the time for it at the moment :)

I like it; nice work. However, nothign actually worked ;). I guess you're working on that piece? The only thing tha tworked was firefox, and since i'm already using firefox it would seem redundant.
Unless of course, i used that firefox to go to wubuntu and load the firefox there. and then i would be stuck in a loop.

Keep us updated on adding the other apps and stuff. Great work!

Seems massivly pointless as I can't see this adding much value, no value in its current state.

It doesn't provide an ubuntu experience so won't aid the ubuntu users.

The pointless boot screen of "booting kernel" "formating windows" etc etc.

Obviously you have tallent to do this level of detail in html and java script, but I don't see any value within the project. I do however see your abilities being used in other better ways within ubuntu.

@efe, I could make something like it with cookies or an account database, but somehow i dont see a point in it :P (Like this whole thing has a point lol)

And yea, i made this manually (the window was made through dreamweaver though, but all the other code, i wrote it all by hand :) )

I was not going to rip your site, lol :) I was just going to take what you've done and improve it. Anyways, I don't think I'm going to do it, I'm just gonna start from scratch, 'cause I like to know it's made by me :p.

Oh, and about Beryl, I was saying it's practically impossible. I know that in thoery it can be done :p.

Yea, i tried to go to this to check it out, and it gave me a "Not found" error. And when i tried just http://weejewel.net/ it came up with a page with nothing on it lol. All that was on it was:
