I've seen the page on PPCNerds about the iMac G5 kernel patch, located here:
http://www.ppcnerds.org/Article259.html
but I can't make heads or tails of it. Does anyone know if the next version of Ubuntu will incorporate this patch, or will it be possible to install Ubuntu on this machine in the near future? I bought it thinking I could install Linux later in addition to the OS X that I wanted to play with for awhile, only to find out afterwards that it was apparently impossible. I'd really like to have my Linux (esp. Ubuntu) fix soon... ](*,)
