Ok, first of all, I love the default theme. I spent a really long time trying to find a theme that I liked when I realized that the default orangey-brown theme was perfect once I got used to it. SO, keeping that in mind, I looked around for things that would make it even better. First, since I didn't like the pixely rounded corners on the windows, I got the "Human-Squared" metacity theme from Gnome-look. Once I had a squared window border, I realized that I wanted the insides to be squared as well. To accomplish this, I downloaded the "Murrina-Human-Classic" Gtk2 theme from Gnome-look as well as the "New murrine configurator." After installing, I made everything about the theme square with the configurator and removed those weird vertical bars in the menus and Ta-daaa! I have an improved, sleek, very useable ubuntu theme! check the attachment for a screenshot.
