Blender doesn't work anymore

Hi,

Anyone any idea? Blender's been working. All of the sudden it doesn't start up anymore. I've tried re-installation, remove and install. But still doesn't want to start up. What could be the problem?

open a terminal and type in glxgears, does it open a little window with 3 rotating gears, or error?
