hi...i'm running 7.04 64 bit....and i tried to install realplayer, adobe flash and avast!antivirus but failed....any idea on how to install them and run?

If you still want 64bit then check out simple64 :)

My experience is that if you like to fool around with computers, install the 64 bit OS. If you just want your computer to work, and you want to install your programs as easily as possible, go with the 32 bit OS.

For most common 32bit applications. They have been replaced by 64bit, or a install script exists that does not require any work. So going for 32bit unless you want some oddball application is a waste.
IMHO what newbies are going to read into your statement is that if they just want a click install and not have to work at all install the 32bit version. When in reality there is no version of Linux that does not require some setup by the person installing it.

Read the sticky. Also realize that antivirus is a waste of time on linux.
