I always find the "why ubuntu sucks" and "why ubuntu will never replace windows" posts very interesting and usually have a good chuckle.

I came across this http://matthias-endler.de/?p=41 (http://matthias-endler.de/?p=41) the other evening and thought it ..... well rather good.

I hope you enjoy it.

PS: I know I may not post very often, practically never I suppose, but the ubuntu forums have been of great assistance to me ... so thanks to the people with the problems and those that help them.

Haha, that was great! Thanks for sharing.
I've often wondered what Windows would be like for a person that has never used it before.

Hme, i don't think windows is ready for the desktop yet... maybe if they open sourced it, it could be improved!

Yeah, there are quite a few of those sort of articles flying around.

I started off as a Mac user, then switched to Ubuntu, and then finally bought my first computer with Windows preinstalled. The culture shock was almost as large as this guy's satirical frustration. Even now, I can't really find my way around a Windows computer any more than a newbie can find their way around the xorg.conf.

Anybody want a challenge? Try installing Vista on any computer. The article would be twice as long, with periodic updates with Vista woes.
