SOLFEGE package in universe wont install

Hi

in universe is a program called solfege, it is an ear training program for musicians, it is very good, very helpful

but the package availiable through apt-get (hoary) wont install

I am not the only person who has had problems with this, look at this

as you can see I have found a way of getting it installed but it is not straightforward by any means

I dont know who to contact to try and help getting this fixed?

is there a way of reporting such things?

any ideas?

Dear Karlo,

It would be a great help to the community if you can document what you actually did. A step by step procedure would be helpful to all of us.

I try to go to the site you recommend and all I get is a mirror site and the actual package after you download it in tar.gz but there's no section to select to make it executable.

Should I try to install it as the manual instructions?
