Gaming Problems

Sorry if this is in the wrong location, but i'm new.
I am running Feisty on my Toshiba Satellite Pro A100. Intel Core 2 Duo 1.83Ghz, 512 RAM, Ati Mobility Radeon X1300. I am a loyal son of the Counter Strike movement, so I tried installing it with wine. Installation-success. So I load the game, and it loads fine. I click "Create Game" and then my problem arises, their is no font anywhere in the menu. I check all the other menus, same thing. Any ideas? I've got the right ATI drivers installed and most of mother other games work well (Dark Crusade,UT,UT2K4).

There's another thread somewhere in here about this, somethign to do with WINE & installing Steam.

The answer given there was that you need to get the Tahoma.ttf font from somewhere, and install that font to your fonts directory.

No idea how to do this, just remembered reading this on the forums yesterday.
