When trying to install BG2 via Cedega i'am running into a few problems. The game is 4 discs long(I have it on .iso format), so I have to mount/unmount each disc individually and install like that. It all goes fine until I finish the 4th disc in where it asks me to point to my first disc. I then precede to mount my 1st disc again, and when I click for the installer to go, it wont. It says that the disc is not there, when I can browse the contents of the cd using xterm. What gives?
Also as a side question, do I mount .cue/.bin files the same way I mount .iso files?

I can't answer your ? but I can tell you that I tried installing it with point2play, got all the way through the install process (from original CDs) then got a directX error when the demo movie went to launch.
My system passed all the p2p tests
I tried playing anyway ... got through character creation, but the game failed to start ... locked me up, had to reboot.
I plan on trying to install it again. ](*,)
----update ... installed again, error free this time, but it still locks up at the same point
