By mistake I downloaded the CD ISO of Ubuntu. I only have a stack of DVD-R discs.

I wonder if it is possible to somehow convert the CD ISO to a DVD ISO or if there are any software that will directly burn it to a DVD instead?

Note that as this is a linux iso it does not work to just copy the files, I need the "bootable" option/flag for the iso as well.

edit: I use Vista (thats why I posted here)

You can just do this anyway... is it nero you're using? If so i seem to remember having some issues with that demanding a cd/dvd depending on the size of the image, but as far as I know that was fixed in later versions. In short, there's no difference between cd isos and dvd isos except their size... as far as I know anyway.

Yeah. Is there a way to do this? My laptop's DVD drive, for some reason won't recognize CDs and in order for me to install Feisty on it I had to download and use a DVD version. I want to install Gutsy and I already have the CD ISO, can I just convert it to a DVD image so that I won't need to download the DVD image...?

ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/)... best burning app I have ever used.... for Windows anyhow.
