lockup in wow since 0.9.37 when volume change

been using wow in wine for quite some time with very few problems, but since 0.9.37 when ever i change volume when the indicator come on-screen the game freezes and i have to tab out and kill the process any1 else getting this?

I actually got like 2-3 secs freeze when I used that one for the very first time, but I've never had problems with it after that. Maybe it's just about graphical settings, you sure you have everything ok in your config.wtf ?

yeah all the settings are fine and as far as i know nothing in config would cause this any way doesn't happen in 0.9.36 or below and its still occurring with 0.9.38,

I get it too..
Usually is fine if I switch to another window and change the volume and then go back to WoW tho, but sometimes that makes it hang as well.

I'm pretty sure I changed the volume ingame with 0.9.37 before the latest WoW patches, but I might be wrong.

i discovered after a clean install that that it only does this when alsa is selected as the only sound driver in winecfg
