I used BUM to deactivate some services. I am not fully sure which.
bootclean is now deactivated. When I use BUM to activate it, the system does not boot properly the next time I turn on.
This problem appears to be the same as described in this bug report (which I don't fully understand)
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm/+bug/79620
My question is:
1. Do I need bootclean? Is it enabled by default on a new system?
2. If it is the case that I need it, how can I activate it so that the system boots properly?
