Hey, thought I'd give this guy a shoutout.
A guy who goes by the username Tartalo has been working on a project known as Adventure Game Goddess. Basically, it takes the AGS Linux engine, installs it onto your comp, and allows you to search for and download AGS games. Right now it's extremely buggy, doesn't work completely in Feisty (was designed for Edgy), and there's no central repository to connect to (it connects to the AGS games database, which doesn't always have working links)
Anyway, I truly love the old adventure games by Sierra, LucasArts, etc. AGS is a powerful game creation tool that may be ported to Mac and Linux (maybe in the upcoming build), and is used to create games in that 90's style (or, in fact, any 2d style. Some 3D stuff is also there, but it's experimental)
In any case, Tartalo's been working hard on Goddess, and I was wondering if anyone was interested in helping out the guy.

Things Goddess lacks:
-Central Repository
-Easy launcher
-Graphical Interface
-Improved AGS engine (Being worked out by a different guy)

You can find Goddess at: http://feags.sourceforge.net/

You can get AGS at: www.bigbluecup.com

And finally, you can get the AGS Linux binaries at: http://drevil.warpcore.org/ags/

I would love to see AGS on Linux, it would really open up a whole new world of Linux gaming opportunities.
You can also email him at: Tartalo@users.sourceforge.net

Cheers,
Mr. Psychopath (a.k.a Alliance in the AGS boards)

EDIT: Tartalo is currently looking for people to help him with his project, so any developers interested in contributing, feel free to check this out, and call him up.
EDIT2: Yeah, I double posted this thread, one's in the regular gaming discussion. I thought it maybe should be there instead. Oops.
