View Full Version : Firefox chopping last letter off of filenames

Does anyone else have this problem? Firefox just won't display the last letter of any filenames.

Example:

script.run -> script.ru

When I download a file, it ALWAYS is missing a letter when I save it (unless I add it manually)
This is a pain in the *** with FTP because files and directories return as not existing. I must manually type in the path!!!

EDIT: This is absolutely the wrong area for this post. -sigh- My bad.

I've had similar problems with Firefox downloading files with an extra extension, usually .html, added - right clicking and doing Save Link As usually seems to work properly, though.

Hopefully a moderator will move your thread, though.

I'm also having a problem with Firefox adding extra extensions to downloaded files. Usually ".bin". Drives me crrrrrrazy! Can't imagine what's causing it.

Did you ever figure out the cause of this cisforcojo?
