Beryl not changing theme

Im pretty experienced with ubuntu and linux in general but im stuck on this problem
ive installed and beryl with all the correct files (beryl-core, beryl-manager... etc etc) and i have the effects working. but when i open emerald theme and choice a theme, nothing happens :S im currently stuck with the ubuntu human theme, with the desktop effects enabled

anyone have any ideas?

how lame, i fixed it

basicly you right click the beryl manager icon and select

Select Window Decorator>Standard Beryl Decorator
