hello i have been looking for a freeware flash alternative(mostly i need it for webgames)
for a web site i am going to make thank you
ps i have looked at java and may use it for some of the things

there are few projects but these are on very yearly beta stages, i don't think you will find anything unless you use Flex which will give you FLW output and but it's gonna be more likely coding game rather animating it.

There is nothing out there comparable to Flash. Depending on exactly what you are doing, you may find success with OpenLaszlo (http://www.openlaszlo.org/).
