Well I've moved over to MEPIS - a distro that is based on Ubuntu, but provides wireless configuration out of the box.
However, I miss my e-Sword. Can anyone help me install e-Sword, or help me find the handy installer that came with Ubuntu CE.
Also, if someone could give me their repository list (sources.list) I'd like to get plugged into it through synaptic (b/c the ones in my list all say ubuntu)...
Thanks.

I am not sure how it has more wireless out of the box because I have a USB linksys wireless card and ubuntu ce installed it with no problems "out of the box". Did you try and goto the network configurator and setup your wireless connection? I just needed to add my wep key and I was up and running. System> Administration> Network and then setup your wireless connection.
Here is a link to the e-sword installer http://www.whatwouldjesusdownload.com/christianubuntu/2007/05/popular-packages.html

Thanks for the link. And trust me you don't want to go there with the wireless card! I have the BCM 4318 Airforce One that like 90% of ppl on this forum are having trouble with - except it never worked for me... MEPIS had ndiswrapper pre-installed along with many common drivers (including mine) and it even had a convenient wizard that did everything for me.

Ive used Mepis several times before it used Ubuntu as a base it was pretty nice, but always a little behind on updated packages. I haven't looked at it in sometime, but I am glad it took care of your wireless problems.

Yeah, I just went into the sources.list and updated the distro info to make it look at the new repositories.
It's pretty nice ;)
