today Defcon (http://www.introversion.co.uk/defcon/) for linux has been releaded, people who already bought the game will be able to freely download the linux version via their unique cd key. For people who do not yet own it you can by it from here (http://store.introversion.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=55).

I was going to buy it, until the review version started yelling at me "FINE, PIRATE OUR GAME, WE HAVE YOUR IP, YOU'LL NEVER GET ON OUR SERVERS NOW!"

That kind of hostility for playing a pre-release version is uncalled for. You should thank the person for taking an interest in your game, and ask them to go buy it.

YEAH! DEFCON!
I played the demo for this game and it's really quite awesome. As you don't have to worry about macro-management of dozens of units or resource gathering, you can REALLY focus purely on tactics...and it shows. Boy, if some of the people I played online against ever got into powerful military positions...well, their army would win in a heartbeat.

DEFCON totally rules, too bad i cant manage to do a full install in ubuntu yet..
