Stability about staging

I'm just curious about how long will it take in average to move a package from staging into stable. Could anyone please give me a tip :) ?

It varies...depending on how busy the backporters are, and whether or not the package proves to be stable enough.

But usually just a few days.

If you're the impatient type just add the ubp staging repos to sources.list ;-)
