Basically what the title says. I installed hydrogen long ago but I couldn't get it to work right because everytime I try clicking on the play button of different sounds, the program plays it but I can't hear it. I tried messing with volumes, mutes, audio driver stuff (even though I don't really know what to do with them) and nothing worked. What was weird though is that when I upgraded to feisty, I started hydrogen and it worked just fine. Sound and everything. Next time I started it up, it went back to the same old problem. I've tried posting this on the hydrogen forums but no one answered; i don't think anyone uses it

Also, I have a logitech Z-560 4.1 speaker set but the rear speakers don't want to work for some reason. It sounds fine in windows partition but they flat out don't work in linux. If I mess with the fade nob, it does nothing. Does linux not support surround sound?
