I downloaded and installed Cedega and P2P last night, and P2P doesn't appear to want me to install any games. I put the game CD into the drive, fired up P2P, and hit the install button, but nothing happens.
Anyone else?

Nascar Racing 2003 Season. Why would that matter?
For what it's worth, I installed it under Wine a few days ago, so I know the CD works.

Did you install Cedega from inside P2P?
I know that if you don't have a default cedega version, P2P won't work right. The best way is to click the "versions" tab in P2P and click "get latest version".
If you have a downloaded version which you didn't get from transgaming, you have to edit a file to enable it. It was buried in the readme somewhere.
Otherwise, I would look at your CD drive and make sure that it passes the system test in P2P.

Hmmm...Can you provide us more information to help you ?
For example, what version of cedega and p2p are you using, and I presume you're
using a version of it that directly supports transgaming
As art said, reading the readme would probably help you out ;-)
Then, try to edit the config file [stated in the readme] and let us know the status of it.

I installed Cedega and then P2P (I never saw anything about having to install Cedega from P2P) . I think I have to uninstall the whole she-bang and start over.

I read the how-tos and the release notes. I would assume the versions I downloaded are the latest because I downloaded them a couple of nights ago from the transgaming website. I ran the tests in P2P and they all passed. The cdrom is mounted and the permissions are correct.
I'm going to uninstall both apps and then reinstall starting with P2P.
