I'm trying to emulate PS1 and it seems this needs more tweaking that I would like it to. Any help?

I don't think certain emulators can include BIOS images for legal reasons, so they leave the possibly illegal stuff to the users.

So, I guess there are then two ways to get it. Take it from your PSX (if you have one, I would have no idea how to do this) or find it on the internet.

yeah, what juxtaposed said above is correct. the sega emulators are like this too. (except for the md/genesis).

Playstation one bios images exist in serveral versions named: scph****.bin

The **** is replaced with the version number of the bios and depends on which version of the ps1 it was ripped from and what area of the world that machine was produced for.
Please do not ask for bios images (or roms in any form) on this forum, they are easily found with a simple search but are generally considered not legal.
