Is it possible to get Mupen64 working on 64bit?

Mupen64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator which runs on Linux.

I have tried using linux32 but it does not work. The problem is not the program itself but the video plugins. There doesn't seem to be any other N64 emulator that runs on Linux natively, but if you know of one, especially if it works fine in 64bit, then please let me know.

I have tried running these two emulators so far using Wine:

Project 64: runs but games cause program to crash
1964: does not run at all

This script worked for me. Feisty 64bit.

Roms work for me with setting CPU core: Interpreter. I'm still working on playing around with input and other plugins.
