The Tactical Operations: Crossfire team are extremely proud to present the latest stage in the evolution of our game, the 1.7 patch. As you can see from the change log we posted yesterday, there has been a lot of tough and systematic work done to get TO:Crossfire polished in key ways. We believe that this is the finest version of TO:Crossfire that we have made, and we sincerely hope that our great community enjoys it too.
As well as consolidating and refining what has been achieved so far, this patch release also offers an element of technical showcase. In particular, Ssswing's great new map, Deluge. Advanced techniques were deployed to push the limits of what can be achieved with the UT2K4 engine. There is a lot to enjoy with this patch release, and also much to look forward to in the future, with the 2.0 patch being the next milestone. "
